Meanwhile. . .

NBC News - A federal grand jury in Washington, D.C., declined to indict a woman accused of threatening President Donald Trump on social media, another sign of pushback from Washington residents over the use of federal law enforcement and deployment of National Guard troops in the city. It is rare for a federal grand jury to decline to indict, but it's become an emerging trend in Washington amid Trump's federal crackdown, with grand juries made up of local residents declining to indict at least six times in recent weeks.

I have always been at least a bit hopeful that many americans would refuse to indict or convict people non violently deffing the government when the government goes crazy. It takes someone as off the rails on common sense and decency as Trump to incite Americans to this point, This is one of the ways the American people try to rein in government over reach and overstepping. The citizens of DC, a colony, being threatened by the would be king, have stood up for all of us. I am sure there are places in the US that will continue to indict, but let us celebrate and encourage all the people who say no to tyranny as a represntative of their community.
