Pew - Nearly half of Americans (49%) oppose the GOP’s far-reaching budget and tax bill – officially titled the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act” – while 29% support it and 21% are not sure. Many say the legislation would negatively impact the country (54%) and increase the budget deficit (51%).
Pew - Nearly half of U.S. adults are connected to Catholicism in some way. Practices vary among those who identify as religiously Catholic, with most falling somewhere in the middle of the religiousness spectrum.
Pew - The average number of kids that U.S. adults ages 20 to 39 expect to have has dropped from 2.3 in 2012 to 1.8 in 2023. About three-quarters of women (77%) and men (76%) in this age group say they have or plan to have at least one child, down from about nine-in-ten in 2012.
