Mississippi: Native tribe votes to legalize cannabis - The Mississippi Band of the Choctaw Indians voted 55%-45% to potentially legalize cannabis for adults.
Fair Vote - On Thursday, June 5, former President Bill Clinton praised New York City’s use of ranked choice voting (RCV) during an appearance on ABC’s The View.
The 42nd president discussed his thoughts on America’s future, and lifted up ranked choice voting as a way to empower voters. Clinton highlighted RCV’s use in the upcoming New York City primaries and described it as “much more sensible,” explaining how it gives greater voice to voters.
The suspect in the fatal shooting of a Minnesota state lawmaker and her husband, as well as the shooting of a second state lawmaker and his wife, was arrested Sunday night, officials said. The capture of Vance Boelter in a sparsely populated area capped a two-day manhunt and "two sleepless nights," Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz said. Authorities said he was found crawling in a field and taken into custody without incident.
