 Elon Musk Calls for Impeachment of Judges After DOGE Legal Blows

The Guardian - Donald Trump has said that he will reverse Joe Biden’s plan to phase out plastic straws across the US government, complaining that paper alternatives don’t work and that a move is needed to go “BACK TO PLASTIC!”Trump said in a Truth Social post that he will sign an executive order next week “ending the ridiculous Biden push for Paper Straws, which don’t work. BACK TO PLASTIC!” The US president added in a separate post that Biden’s “mandate” for paper straws was now dead: “Enjoy your next drink without a straw that disgustingly dissolves in your mouth!!!”

Hyperallergic -Among dozens of Biden-era policies revoked upon his inauguration, Trump has disbanded the President’s Committee on the Arts and the Humanities (PCAH).
The announcement comes as the Trump administration dismantles diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility initiatives across federal agencies, including museums. According to PCAH’s mission statement, no longer viewable online but provided to Hyperallergic by a committee member who requested anonymity, the group’s work was grounded in “the fundamental belief that creativity, diversity, and democracy are intrinsically bound, and that the arts and the humanities can be a powerful force for social change.”  ....  

This is the second time the PCAH has dissolved under Trump’s presidency, as all 17 committee members resigned in 2017 in protest of Trump’s comments regarding the white supremacist Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, Virginia. The committee was only reinstated in September 2022 through President Biden’s Executive Order 14084, and was set to be comprised of the chairpersons of the NEA and NEH, the director of the IMLS, and 25 non-federal members appointed by Biden who have a demonstrated commitment to the arts, humanities, and library services. Lever News -On Jan. 27, the Environmental Protection Agency quietly removed all information about climate change from its homepage and other prominent areas of its website, burying it deep in sections that are harder to find.  Environmental advocates condemned the deletions, part of sweeping efforts to revise federal websites to reflect President Donald Trump’s agenda, saying the information suppression comes at a time when climate upheaval is intensifying damage and harm.
