X.com - Fourteen states hit Elon Musk, DOGE, and Donald Trump with a nightmare lawsuit — deploying a slew of facts to prove that Republican efforts to gut the government are fully unconstitutional.
MAGA just ran straight into a legal brick wall... "Mr. Musk’s seemingly limitless and unchecked power to strip the government of its workforce and eliminate entire departments with the stroke of a pen or click of a mouse would have been shocking to those who won this country’s independence," the states, led by New Mexico, wrote. "There is no office of the United States, other than the President, with the full power of the Executive Branch, and the sweeping authority now vested in a single unelected and unconfirmed individual is antithetical to the nation’s entire constitutional structure," the suit continues. The states involved are Arizona, Michigan, California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Washington. They're arguing that Musk has so much power over the government through his sham DOGE organization that he should have undergone a Senate confirmation process. More
