Newsweek -  Paramount+ has canceled the Frasier revival after two seasons, leaving the show's producer CBS Studios to shop it to other platforms, a source with knowledge told Newsweek on Saturday. Frasier, a spin-off of the sitcom Cheers that ran from 1993 to 2004, was revived in October 2023 with actor Kelsey Grammer reprising his role as Dr. Frasier Crane. In the original series, Crane returns to his hometown of Seattle to work as a psychiatrist on a radio show. In the revival, Crane ventures off to a different city "with new challenges to face, new relationships to forge, and an old dream or two to finally fulfill," according to the show's summary on IMDb. The revival got three Emmy nominations but didn't win any of the awards.
