Sam Smith - Donald Trump is about to be made president despite numerous felonies for which he has been convicted, his attempt to overthrow the government, his chronic lying and his mistreatment of women. His record puts America in its most dangerous domestic situation since the Civil War.
But as Washington's Channel 4 has pointed out, "Eligibility requirements for presidents state only that they must be at least 35 years old,be a natural-born citizen of the United States, and have been a resident of the country for at least 14 years."
This does not, however, mean a president can not be impeached and thrown out of office for doing illegal things and endangering the country. Our good lawyers should start working on an impeachment as soon as Trump becomes president as he will undoubtedly be providing evidence for it. We don't have the votes now but can start compiling the evidence for when we do.
