A part of the disparity in wealth between Red and Blue states is that the states in the South, the places with the lowest incomes, refused to invest in public infrastriucture because Black people would have benefitted. Lousy healthcare, lousy education, no public transit, minimal libraries. Self destructive stupidity. just like Trump.
