Ralph Nader - New York Times lead article says Kamala Harris bidding for white working class votes. Still, she is not picking up Bernie Sanders three policies that he thinks would win the election.
They are:
1.) Raising the minimum wage to $15 or more from the present frozen $7.25.
2.) Increasing Social Security benefits frozen for over 50 years.
3.) Increasing taxes on the undertaxed wealthy and big corporations.
These progressive advancements are supported by overwhelming majorities of white workers. Instead, Harris takes her advice from Wall Street not Main Street. Sanders privately very upset as he travels around the country boosting these important programs. For Harris, they are just throwaway lines in her speeches, not front and center in her media, campaign events and ground game.
