AP News - Black Americans are about 9% of people older than 65 in the U.S. but make up just 4.9% of the population in residential care communities and are overrepresented in nursing homes at 16% of residents. The situation is flipped for white Americans, who make up 88% of the population in residential care communities. Read more.
