Wall Street Journal - 4:03 p.m. - The average Friday quitting time in North America. That’s an hour earlier than the rest of the week (though people tend to start work earlier on Fridays, too), according to workforce analytics firm ActivTrak. Bosses aren’t panicking because slacking off one day a week can boost performance on other days and reduce the costs of worker burnout and turnover.
