Daily Mail, UK -Former President Barack Obama has now twice warned President Joe Biden that his reelection prospects are in trouble - as former President Donald Trump is in a stronger position to win the White House than he was in the two previous cycles. Time Magazine reported Thursday that Obama paid Biden a visit in June and delivered the warning - and did so again in December when he didn't see the Biden campaign operation improve. He had been invited to the White House at Biden's invitation, after the two men served together as president and vice president for eight years.'He expressed concern the re-election campaign was behind schedule in building out its field operations, and bottlenecked by Biden's insistence on relying upon an insular group of advisers clustered in the West Wing,' Time wrote, citing a Democratic insider. While both White House and campaign officials act optimistic publicly, Time reported that behind closed doors they are scared.

CNN: Truth Social is not a serious threat to compete with, let alone eclipse, X, Facebook or YouTube – it’s not among the 100 most downloaded social media applications in the Apple App store – nor has it separated itself as their conservative alternative. Trump Media’s management warned last year that the company was at risk of insolvency without a merger, and most analysts are skeptical of its current valuation above $6 billion. Instead, the sky-high appraisal appears closely tied to Trump’s political comeback attempt. But Truth Social has not proved it can survive, let alone thrive, unless the nation’s gaze is affixed on the site’s most famous user.

Citizens for Ethics - As of December 2023, the Federal Election Commission has received 59 allegations that Donald Trump or his committees violated the Federal Election Campaign Act. In 29 of those cases, nonpartisan staff in the FEC’s Office of General Counsel recommended the FEC investigate Trump. Yet not once has a Republican FEC commissioner voted to approve any such investigation or enforcement of the law against Trump.
