Axios - Global ocean surface temperatures stayed at record highs every day for the past year...The trend is worrying scientists who don't have a complete understanding of what's driving the record ocean heat. "It's not just that the global average sea surface temperature has been record-breaking every single day. ... It's the absurdly large margins by which the records have been broken," Brian McNoldy, a senior researcher at the University of Miami, told Axios.
