Newsweek - Donald Trump will claim at the Stormy Daniels trial next month that he was trying to hide his affair with the porn star from his wife, not his voters, an attorney has said. New
York prosecutors will try to prove that, before the 2016 presidential
election, Trump paid two women—Daniels and former Playboy model Karen
McDougal—not to reveal his affairs with them. He is also accused of
making payments to a former Trump Tower doorman who claimed to know that
Trump fathered a child with another woman. Trump has strongly denied
all allegations.
AP - Donald Trump’s hush-money trial will go ahead as scheduled with jury
selection starting on March 25, a judge ruled Thursday, turning aside
requests for a delay from the former president’s defense lawyers.
Daily Beast - During a monumental election year for the GOP, Trump has effectively taken over the Republican National Committee, a bid to ensure that the national fundraising juggernaut will chiefly serve him, and not other Republican efforts. His personal pick to co-chair the RNC—daughter-in-law Lara Trump—teased the new vision on Tuesday during an interview on Newsmax. “Every single penny will go to the No. 1 and the only job of the RNC—that is electing Donald J. Trump as President of the United States,” she said.
