Independent - Michelle Obama is the leading choice to replace Joe Biden as the presidential candidate for Democrats if he drops out of the race, a survey has found. The former first lady emerged as the top alternate to Mr Biden for the 2024 race, beating Gavin Newsom, Kamala Harris, and Hillary Clinton amid questions about the president’s health and fitness. About
48 per cent of Democratic voters supported “finding another candidate
to replace Joe Biden before the election in November”, according to a
Rasmussen Reports survey released on Monday. But 47 per cent of
the respondents believe “it is likely Democrats will replace Biden with
another candidate as their presidential nominee before the election in
November, including 22 per cent who see it as very likely”.

Really? Lets stop the madness! Don’t be like Bushs and Clintons for Pete’s sake! Michelle Obama is not a politician, as nice of a person as she may be.
Of course, there are quite a few of politicians to pick from:
1.) Name Recognition (important for winning elections)
2.) Political Capability.
3.) Willingness to run for Pres / V.P.
Lets ask around! I’m not familiar with all the following folks, but let the DNC eliminate any unsuitable / unelectable ones.
Women possibilities (not in any particular order)
Amy Klobuchar (Senator from Minnesota)
Elizabeth A. Warren (Senator from Massachusetts)
Tammy Baldwin (Senator Wisconsin)
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (Rep. New York)
Pramila Jayapal (Rep. Washington State)
Cori Bush (Rep. Missouri)
Rashida Tlaib (Rep. Michigan)
Men possibilities (not in any particular order)
Chuck Schumer (Senator New York)
Pete Buttigieg (U.S. Secretary of Transportation)
Adam Schiff (Rep. California)
Jamie Raskin (Rep. Maryland)
Beto O'Rourke (Previous Texas State Rep.)
Kirsten Gillibrand (Senator New York)
Sheldon Whitehouse (Senator Rhode Island)
Mark Warner (Senator Virginia)
Eric Swalwell (Rep. California)
Brad Schneider (Rep. Illinois)
All pretty intelligent folks. Be serious folks, don't let Name Recognition by readers of some publication be our guiding light.
