NPR - Each year, the Association for the Study of African American Life and History chooses a different theme for Black History Month. The 2024 theme is "African Americans and the Arts." It aims to celebrate the "richness of the past and the present" in African American arts while looking to the future, ASALH president Marvin Dulaney says.
