Messenger -  The share of U.S. workers belonging to unions actually dropped in 2023 amid a surge in non-union jobs. And the overall numbers are very poor as well. Only 10 percent of the U.S. workforce belonged to unions in 2023, down from 10.1 percent in 2022 and the lowest level since 1983. The decline of labor unions that began decades ago continues.
