Washington Post - Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton requested a clinic’s records late last year, dating back to January 2022. Texas banned gender-affirming care for minors last year. The Republican official is looking in multiple states for information about transgender youths. The clinic told The Post it would not turn over patient data.

Texas is right to ban transition in minors. Read Helen Joyce's book "TRANS:When Ideology meets reality." Or search for Chole Cole who is a detransitioner who is suing Kaiser for it.
The greatest suicide risk for transitioners is about 5 years after transition when they realize that transitioning didn't turn out to be the right choice, and they are having serious regrets. Just search detransitioners on youtube, and listen to their stories.
Puberty Blockers in children and teens can cause infertility, osteoporosis, and lack of bone density, to name a few issues. they should never be given to children who do not show a medical condition called central precocious puberty where 5 year olds get their periods or start growing facial hair, it's not a drug for kids feeling confused.
The trans clinics don't first comprehensively check the minors for mental health issues, and they ignore that 30% of the children showing up to these clinics are diagnosed with autism, and at least another 30% showing autism symptoms. Most children feel confused about gender as they go through puberty, and interrupting puberty makes all of that worse, and will cause problems as they age, like never growing proper adult genitals. Letting the kids go through puberty for most resolves the confusion that brings these kids to the trans clinics in the first place. Medicalizing healthy children and teens is harming our children, and the youth gender clinics seem more invested in getting the money train going than the young lives they are destroying.
Now, cue all the "Trans Rights Activists" and men with Autogynephilia who will dog pile on my post, because they need youth transition to bolster their claims of being "born that way".
Ken Paxton is still a fascist. The government has no right to choose genders.
