In view of the forthcoming holidays including visits by your editor's sons, their wives and their children, our normal publishing of news may become more than a little irregular over the next week. Since many of our readers will enjoy similar pleasant interruptions in their work I'll just wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year - Sam Smith
