Eco update

The Canadian government is set to unveil a requirement that all new cars must be zero emissions by 2035, according to a senior government source, as Reuters reported.

Nearly 33 gigawatts of solar capacity will have been installed nationwide by the end of the year, a new record and a significant jump from 2022’s 21 gigawatts.

Axios - Shares of SunPower fell that much after it told regulators "substantial doubt" exists about its ability to continue operating... The big home solar provider, in SEC filings, said lenders may demand an immediate repayment of over $65 million. The company tells Bloomberg it has "already initiated constructive discussions with our lenders and equity sponsors regarding solutions."

Now if we can have Geothermal energy now, please. The shale oil industry has nearly all the tools and expertise to grow the industry fast. Another advantage is Geothermal can be sited and brought to production in a matter of months as opposed to years for locating and building nuclear.
