 The Energy Department is investing $325 million in new types of batteries that can store renewable energy longer.

The CDC recommended an RSV vaccine for pregnant women. Expectant mothers should get the shot if they are between 32 and 36 weeks pregnant and will give birth in the fall or winter, a panel of experts said Friday. RSV is the top cause of hospitalizations in babies. The recommendation comes as the seasonal spread of viral illness is beginning to ramp up.
