Nice News - If you’ve spent the summer playing pickleball, you might be dreading the approaching colder months and the prospect of putting away your paddle. But you needn’t worry: The sports phenomenon, still growing and showing no signs of slowing down, is increasingly headed indoors. In addition to making pickleball accessible during all seasons and weather conditions, indoor courts could solve a few problems, including noise complaints and competition with tennis players, NPR reports. “[More indoor courts] would help some of that divide, where pickleball players ... can go to designated pickleball facilities instead of taking over tennis courts, which I know ruffles some feathers,” said pro pickleballer Riley Newman.
“It’s like every day, there’s a new pickleball concept that’s looking to expand, so much so that I feel like I could write a whole separate pickleball report,” he said.
