What the country is experiencing today is a culmination of decades of unrelenting, right-wing, brainwashing, initiated by Rush Limbaugh -- the first broadcaster to take full advantage of the FCC’s little-noticed 1987 repeal of the Fairness Doctrine which allowed Limbaugh and his ilk to promote unsubstantiated claims of liberal malfeasance on a daily basis.
