The Biden administration  announced it would impose inflation penalties on 43 drugs for the third quarter of 2023, having fined 27 earlier this year, in a move it said would lower costs for older Americans. 

Axios - There's been a sixfold increase in the number of public pickleball courts in the 100 biggest U.S. cities since 2017 — from 420 to 2,788. . . Cities are in a love/hate relationship with America's fastest-growing sport, which has increasingly become a boon for aging tennis players and others who dig its vibe. Pickleball has become a way of life in Florida, California and Arizona. Cold-weather cities are embracing the sport, too.  Seattle is No. 1, probably because the sport was invented on nearby Bainbridge Island in 1965.

The Supreme Court on Thursday ruled to protect the right of Medicaid nursing home residents to seek relief in federal court when state officials do not meet a certain quality of care — a ruling some hail as a civil rights victory for Medicaid patients.
