Just thinking about AI

 Sam Smith - Lately it has occurred to me that AI actually stands for Annoying Interruptions. I have been increasingly struck by how much time I spend meeting the technological instructions of the websites I visit.  For example, I'm still trying to pay off a $27 bill from Pay Pal  that cropped up weeks ago. I only recently discovered Pay Pal's  real life mailing address and sent them a check which has still to be cashed. My assumption is that websites are increasingly in control of those whose lives happily revolve around technical maneuvers that  are unconsciously making the web ever more complex for ordinary users. As one who first went on the web 28 years ago I can assure you that it is not as easy as it once was.
