Bad news for Jim Jordan

 Occupy Democrats -   Rep. Jim "Gym" Jordan gets some of the worst news of his political career as the Supreme Court rules that 230 men can sue Ohio State University over the sexual abuse inflicted on them by a late university doctor. Hundreds of former student athletes have accused Dr. Richard Strauss of abusing them when he worked for the school from 1978 to 1998. Strauss committed suicide in 2005.

The Supreme Court has ruled that the decision of a lower court which allows the victims to seek restitution may stand. . . According to the victims, university officials refused to stop Dr. Strauss despite raising numerous complaints to them. At the time, Jordan was an assistant wrestling coach at Ohio State and allegedly ignored the rampant abuse — presumably to help his career. Several victims say that he absolutely knew what was happening but failed to do anything about it. At least four former wrestlers named him as a defendant in their lawsuit against the university.

Jordan has since smeared the victims as "pawns in a political plot."  The Supreme Court's decision threatens to thrust the entire sordid scandal back into the headlines at a time when Jordan is carving out a name for himself as one of President Biden's most adamant enemies and one of Donald Trump's staunchest allies.
