US credit card debt jumps 18.5% to record $930.6B in the fourth quarter of 2022.
The average price Americans paid for a new car hit a record in December — $47,362. That's according to an analysis by the research firm, J.D. Power. Those sky-high prices are keeping prospective buyers away. U.S. car sales in 2022 were the lowest they've been in over a decade., The Wall Street Journal... Carmakers predict prices will drop — and customers will come back — this year. Ford said Thursday that it projects average prices will be about 5% lower in 2023.
Almost all senators and 94% of representatives have a bachelor’s degree,
while majorities in both chambers also have a graduate degree. By
comparison, 38% of all Americans ages 25 and older have a bachelor’s
degree and 14% have a graduate degree. Some universities are especially
well represented in Congress: 13% of senators, for example, have a
degree from Harvard.
