Tech's new shock

 Axios -   Silicon Valley has always followed a boom-bust rhythm. But the most recent boom ran so long, many top players started to act immortal. So this torrent of layoffs is a sharp, shocking comedown for an industry that stood on top of the world just a year ago, Axios' Ina Fried writes in her weekly column, "Signal Boost."
