Washington Post - A federal appeals court on Wednesday debated whether Donald Trump can be forced to pay damages for his role in the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol to lawmakers and police officers injured by the mob.While they struggled with the line between protected speechmaking and actionable incitement, all three judges on the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals indicated that a line exists and Trump may have crossed it.
