Harvard Magazine has published a chart showing how the number of bachelor degrees has changed in the past decade. Computer science has had a 100% increase, while engineering, math & statistics, and biology have grown 50% or more. Meanwhile there have been declines of 20% or more in religion, languages, history, area studies and humanities.
The Census Bureau predicts that by 2034 adults over 65 will outnumber children under 18.
Sen. Pat Leahy (D-Vt.) has been serving in the Senate for so long that when he arrived in 1975, there were no women senators.
