CNN - Their study, published Tuesday, found that without Covid-19 vaccines, the nation would have had 1.5 times more infections, 3.8 times more hospitalizations and 4.1 times more deaths than it did between December 2020 and November 2022. As it stands now, Covid-19 has caused at least 99.2 million cases and more than 1.08 million deaths in the US. Just in the past week, there were 2,981 new deaths and 30,253 new hospital admissions, according to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Then why are most people dying from Covid at this point, vaccinated? Why are vaccinated people having repeated cases of Covid, when those who have natural immunity are not getting sick?
My Note: I’m not sure how to respond. I’m not sure how to find the information related to these questions. My immediate response would be ridicule, as facts might be impossible to obtain. Are so many people in the U.S. vaccinated that the preponderance of people dying would naturally have been vaccinated? Of course vaccinated people can have ‘breakthrough cases’ of Covid-19, but I sincerely doubt that these are in greater numbers than previously infected people being infected and Not suffering any symptoms, not being infected at all, and the questions may actually be a fool’s errand.
Why did Anonymous (16 Dec) choose to include those Vaccinated individuals who had, in the past, suffered from actual Covid-19 infections (“repeated cases of Covid”)? Also, to compare this vaccinated group of ‘previously’ infected individuals (who, by definition have “natural immunity”) to some Undefined group of previously infected individuals with the same “natural immunity” is ludicrous.
Update: My comment (17 Dec) was in response to Anon (16 Dec), not to article.
