Axios - Michigan's GOP gubernatorial primary may be the most chaotic race this year, with a fresh twist this morning.
- Hours before the prime-time Jan. 6 hearings, Republican candidate Ryan Kelley was arrested by the FBI on misdemeanor charges stemming from Jan. 6, Axios' Jacob Knutson reports.
Here's the crazy part: The primary is already a mess after the state bureau of elections disqualified five candidates — including front-runner James Craig — over a lack of valid signatures.
- Craig lost a court challenge on the decision last week.
