That isn't a failure of U.S. journalism. That is another failure of the Democratic Party, and the Biden administration. U.S. journalism isn't required to make bills seem more attractive to the public. They aren't the Dem's propaganda organs.

The Dems wanted to show how much money they were putting into reconstruction. They are the ones who keep talking about $3.5T. The press are just reporting what the Dems are saying.
