Sam Smith - On November 8 at 9 pm, WETA will be broadcasting a one hour documentary on the history of Washington's lack of the vote and representation in Congress. My wife Kathy and I are featured in the film, she as a DC historian and yours truly having written the first article outlining how DC could become a state without a constitutional amendment. About four months later, the DC statehood movement got underway.
