In the US, another August weekly average of new cases per capita higher than in any month since February  The US has 17.6% of the world's cases. The percent of global deaths occurring in the US is 14.3%.

The global per capita weekly new case average this month is above the  monthly average since February. The global death  rate is 2.1%
