I saw that article in "The Guardian". The English love to lecture others, especially using people from those countries. But how about the English taking a look in the mirror. They have a first past the post system, with single representatives. And the result is that it completely undercuts the representation of any third party.
Also this article ignores the disparity in California. GOP got 35-40% of the votes and only 21% of House seats; and this was an improvement from 2018 where with similar support it only got 13% of House seats.
