Abolishing the electoral college update

 Abolish the Electoral College - There's a plan to bypass the Senate and elect the president directly – without a constitutional amendment. It’s called the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact, and it’s an agreement between states to choose their electors by the national popular vote. There’s only one problem: It won’t take effect until 270 electors’ worth of states sign the agreement. We are 72.6% there.
