Legal update for lawyers

Lowering the Bar - The legal-ethics rules don’t specifically govern the position of a lawyer’s zipper, though when applicable Model Rule 1.8(j) will generally mean it must remain in the “up” position in the vicinity of a client. Florida has adopted a version of that rule, which lawyers in that state should consult well before such a situation arises. See Florida Rule Prof. Conduct 4–8.4(i). Violating it is likely to get you disbarred.
