If Trump wins: just a suggestion

Sam Smith – We’ve been taught by the modern media to think federally most of the time. In fact, the local is just as important and is likely to become more so should Trump win again.

For example, seldom mentioned in the media is the disproportionate role that states of the former Confederacy have played since the end of the Civil War. Decades of segregation is one example, but there are plenty of others. Undernews keeps a regular scorecard of states based on the rankings of others as well as current events and actions. Eight of the worst ten states of the moment were in the Confederacy.

And Trump is once again relying on these former Confederate states as a major part of his political base.

Liberals don’t pay enough attention to state-based politics and it’s one of the reasons the right does so well. Here’s an alternative they could try should Trump win again.

Select three of the worst Trump states and establish a boycott of the state for tourism and business trip and a boycott of these state’s leading businesses. If Mitch McConnell wins again, Kentucky would be a fine target, but whichever are selected could well illustrate a major problem with getting hooked up with Trump.
