Leaving Your Nose Uncovered Defeats the Purpose of Wearing a Mask: Study Reveals

Glad to see this article. I have felt really uncomfortable when seeing people with their masks pulled down below their nose, which I still see almost every time I go places.

I am 'older'. And so, I feel somewhat vulnerable, and hostile toward those that disregard the benefits of wearing a mask properly - or at all.

I do motion, with an upward movement of my fingers over my nose, to people who have their masks pulled down, and even have voiced my concern directly to a couple of individuals.

Physical danger and hostility hasn't been a big problem, so far. But the ignorance and questioning responses have been a concern to me. And I have been thinking about what I can do when I see some ignorant SOB with no mask, or with a mask pulled down below their nose or further even down below their chin.

Because people are now presumably 'fully informed' about wearing masks, and the risks of not properly wearing one. Can I carry a 7 ft cane and physically defend myself?
