Trump slipping among Catholics
Only 37% of white Catholics held a favorable view of Trump in May, down
from a peak of 60% in March, according to the Public Religion Research

It would be incorrect, I suppose, to indite all Catholics for voting for Republicans and Trump based solely on the Abortion issue.
However, based on members of my family, I will.
Many Catholics remained rigidly anti-abortion... mindlessly, before Trump. For years. Voting mechanically with dogmatic precision.
One could suppose, now, that it is the presence of Trump that leads staunch Catholics to vacate their single-minded war against abortion. Message received, and understood.
