How Facebook and cellphones are helping to save the republic

Sam Smith - As I looked at a half dozen recent cellphone videos of police abusive confrontations with black citizens on Facebook it occurred to me  that both cellphones and Facebook deserve more credit than they have been getting. We would have hardly any such solid evidence of this abuse without cellphones and we would not have the spread of this evidence without Facebook.
