VA Governor Northam just signed the bill decriminalizing the drug marijuana (there are lots more drugs, all with different effects).
A sweeping legalization of all drugs, with appropriate purity controls in open and legitimate distribution centers and taxes on their purchase would effectively solve the drug cartels' major malfunction - making money off of thoughtlessly shortsighted policies and of course, crony prisonism.
Hasn't the total legalization approach been proved successful in other countries? USA, USA, playing catch-up every day...
Cheers, Tom
