Globally, the number of new cases this week is 12% above the previous week. For America the increase is 14%.

• The number of new United Kingdom cases are up 14% compared to the previous week
• New cases in Spain this week are are down 19% compared to the previous week
• New cases in Italy this week are up 5%  compared to the previous week
• New cases in Germany this week are up 5%  compared to the previous week
• New cases in the United Kingdom this week are down 49%  compared to the previous week

 Death rate

• The latest death rate in all major virus countries has increased this week over past week's average
• USA 3.8% or 39% over the previous week's average
• Global 6.1%  or 14% over the previous week's average
• Worst: Italy remains worst at 12.8% 
• United Kingdom is second at 12.2%
• Spain is third at 10.2%
• Germany is 2.3%

States & cities

• The highest number of cases are in New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Michigan, California and Pennsylvania
• Michigan's most recent death rate is 5.5% 
• New York's most recent death rate is 4.6% 
• Washington's most recent death rate is 4.8%
• Louisiana's most recent death rate is 4.0%
