VIRUS STATS UPDATE MONDAY

Globally, the number of new cases is down 15% compared with the month's average

  • The number of new US cases is down 11% compared to the month's average
  • The number of new United Kingdom cases are down 44% compared to the month's average
  • New cases in Spain are are down 38% compared to the month's average
  • New cases in Italy are down 3% compared to the month's average
  • New cases in Germany are down 40% compared to the month's average
  • New cases in the United Kingdom are down 56% compared to the month's average
 Death rate
  • The latest death rate in all major virus countries has increased over the month's average.
  • USA 4.0% or 17% over the month's average
  • Global 6.2%  or 7% over the month's average
  • Worst: Italy remains worst at 12.7% 
  • United Kingdom is second at 12.5%
  • Spain is third at 10.3%
  • Germany is 2.4%
States & cities
  • The highest number of cases are in New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Michigan and California
  • Michigan's most recent death rate is 6.1% 
  • New York's most recent death rate is 5.0%
  • Washington and Louisiana have death rates over 4%
