 Death rate

• Worst: Italy is worst at 12.3%
• Global 5.4%
• USA 2.7% with nearly a third in NYC
• United Kingdom is second at 10.2%
• Spain is third at 9.5%
• Iran's death rate is 6.2% - down 29% in week
• Germany is  1.5%  - steady

According to an analysis by Alan McQuillen, these countries had the largest increase in deaths per capita April 1-5 compared to the previous five days: Scotland,India, UK, Sweden and France

• Of major states, only Washington has a death rate over 4%
• Michigan is down slightly
• Louisiana, Michigan, New York and Georgia are over over 3%
• Top states remain New York and New Jersey
