 Death rate

• Worst: Italy remains worst at 12.3%
• Global 5.5%
• USA 2.9%- up 70% in past week
• United Kingdom is second at 10.3%
• Spain is third at 9.7%
• Iran's death rate is 5.1% - down 35% in week
• Germany is  1.6%

According to an analysis by Alan McQuillen, these countries had the largest increase in deaths per capita April 1-5 compared to the previous five days: Scotland,India, UK, Sweden and France
 
STATE STATS

• Of major states, only Washington and Michigan have a death rate over 4%
• Georgia is down slightly in death rate
• Louisiana, New York and Georgia are over 3% in death rate.
• Top states in total cases remain New York and New Jersey, followed by Michigan, California, and Louisiana.
