Although the latest Marist poll brings a five poll average of support for Trump's handling of the virus, down two percent from its previous level, the survey also shows Trump not only getting 89% support from Republicans but 64% support from non-college graduate white males. As we have noted from time to time, as liberals have become better educated, they have deserted a key constituency they once had.

Interesting choice of words.
Seems to, at first, take the stance that liberals are, by definition, college grads.
Then, the onus seems to be put on those same 'better-educated' liberals, indicating that they have deserted those people of whom 64% of now support Trump.
Two things.
First, as even Reagan said: The Republican Party left him.
Also, there can be only so far one can slide from one's ideas, and ideals. It is actually up to our individual States (and maybe Journalists) to educate people to be able to Think. To be able to push aside the emotional baggage of Hate, Fear, and Superstition. To see the world as an opportunity, not as an enemy to purposely close-off from. It is not up to Liberals, college educated or not, to give-in or operate as a “lowest-common-denominator” as my father would say – and he only went as far as the second year of High School.
