Why being president would be difficult for Sanders

Sam Smith - The considerable virtue of his stands on various issues aside, Bernie Sanders has some political problems. For example, he hardly ever smiles or make nice, at least on TV.  But more important, as last night's debate illustrated, he lacks the ability to negotiate. It's his way or the highway.  A president has to negotiate with all sorts of people both foreign and domestic and Sanders doesn't offer a hint of this skill.

Sam what are you talking about?

Sanders is known as the "Amendment King" because he is an adept negotiator who is able to work with both parties. I doubt Bernie would forget those skills on the world stage. Biden is likely to call a foreign leader a "Lying Dog Faced Pony Soldier" or challenge a world leader to a pushup contest, just like Biden has to voters. I really don't want to see the international fallout from those kind of meltdowns. It's not like dementia is a short term illness Biden will get over, it's a long term condition that only gets worse.

At last nights debate, even though this performance was the best that could be hoped for with Biden and his dementia, Biden was uninspiring at best. More worryingly Biden was glued to his phone where the people behind the lie of Biden being competent were telling Dementia Joe what to say. It's a great metaphor for what a Biden presidency would look like, unelected DNC operatives and Big Donors pulling the strings to make Biden their mouth piece, since Biden can't control his own mouth. I find a Biden presidency as alarming as a second term of tRump.

If Bernie seems "my way or the highway", it's because he is looking at all the current crisis with open eyes and actually has crafted solutions that are in line with what polls show the American people largely want, and that science says is needed to meet these crisis. Bernie listens to experts and understands the urgency of the problems. Bernie has viable solutions for this time we live in. Biden spends most of his time living in the past, using his association with Obama as a substitute for having any ideas. Older voters probably want to return to the safety of the familiar past so they favor Joe and the lie he is offering Times have changed and policies of the past are the road to ruin, GenX, Millennials and Zoomers know this.

Your complaint about Bernie not smiling is pretty weak sauce. He doesn't do the endless meaningless politician smiles, but when he does smile it's meaningful. Bernie is honestly amused and it shows that it is real. Biden smiles like it's scripted and he is getting a prompt on his phone from his unelected party operative advisers that are propping him up. Biden is just another dishonest politician who lied in the debate at least 3 times about his past, though in some cases he doesn't seem to remember that past all that well.

Take a look at the exit polls, Sanders wins a lot more states according to the international standard of exit polls, but somehow once the party counts the votes, Biden is announced the winner. Why is it Latino voters and college students, Bernie voters, who find their polling places so under resourced that voters must wait for hours to cast a ballot, while middle class white precincts are well provisioned for? This sounds, looks, and smells like Democratic Party corruption running rampant with both voter suppression and manipulated results.

Biden will lose if he goes to the general election. He gets angry and melts down with alarming regularity, and tRump will use that to it's fullest advantage.
