Duke - I'll be turning 60 next Saturday. So, how does this "sacrificing myself for the economy" thing work? Is there some Soylent Green collection station where my family drops me off? Can I take a Lyft? Will they just come to the house and get me?

 
All 94 residents of New Jersey nursing home presumed positive for coronavirus

Ralph Drollinger, a minister who leads a weekly Bible study group for President Donald Trump’s cabinet, released a new interpretation of the coronavirus pandemic this week, arguing that the crisis represents an act of God’s judgment.

American Psychiatric Association survey found that 48% were anxious about the possibility of getting the coronavirus, 40% were anxious about becoming seriously ill or dying from coronavirus, and 62% were anxious about the possibility of family and loved ones getting COVID-19.

With D.C. restaurants closed to on-site patrons in an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19, city transportation officials have set up 20 designated locations where residents and delivery workers can stand in their vehicles to pick up or drop off takeout orders.

NPR - Borrowers who have defaulted on their federal student loans will get a temporary reprieve from having their wages, Social Security benefits and tax refunds garnished by the federal government, the U.S. Education Department announced on Wednesday. This break will last for a minimum of 60 days, beginning March 13.

Guardian -The New England Journal of Medicine just published a study that tested how long the virus can remain stable on different kinds of surfaces within a controlled laboratory setting. They found that it was still detectable on copper for up to four hours, on cardboard for up to 24 hours, and on plastic and steel for up to 72 hours. But it’s important to note that the amount of virus decreased rapidly over time on each of those surfaces. And so the risk of infection from touching them would probably decrease over time as well.
